Hi Sue,
I’d be happy to give it a try. I’ve been posting the odd review on my blog, but I read other romances that I haven’t posted about. Then there’s always discussions about about stereotypes and preferences in the genre.
That the kind of thing you’re looking for?

Hi Sue,
I would love a shot at the guest blog. I’ve been an avid romance fan since, well practically since I can remember. I’m currently reading all things paranormal and I’ve begun writing a paranormal romance of my own.
I worked my way through college at Waldenbooks - where romance was “my section”. I loved discusing romance (and still do) and helping people find new books to love.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

As the wind from my fast-typing fingers blows through my hair, nervous thoughts rush through my brain, sweat gathers between my breasts. Can I do this? Talk about romance novels, my first and true love? Can I inspire and entertain like Kathleen Woodiwiss seduced me during my first interlude with a romance novel in my teens? Can I make people giddy with joy, just as the blush of first love?
Sure, why not?

Hi Sue!
Sounds fun! I used to blog for awhile (and to warn you, I’m a bit of a babbler), but I read romance almost non-stop. In fact, I used to get made fun of (by professors and students alike) because I read more romance novels in my three years of law school than I did of my actual casebooks. If I had devoted as much time to my casebooks I would have probably been the top student in the class!
So, pick me, pick me!

I’m a regular reader and poster here, so I definitely want to support BTRB, but I have no blogging experience. If I’m chosen I will try my best, have some vague ideas that I will tighten up and propose if I am chosen. I’m sure I will think of something as I love to gab about books, esp. romance books!

Hi Sue,
I’m not much of a writer but as reading and talking are my ‘hobbies’, well, what the heck - might as well give it a try. Of course as a former Waldenbooks bookseller and Romance Expert (and current bookseller) talking romance books is what I do; reading romance - that’s my passion. Discussing that passion with other like-minded folks - what fun!
Thanks to Susan Mallery for posting this on Facebook.
Happy Reading everyone!
Anne
(who is off to her Romance Readers Book club to - - discuss romance books, of course!

Wow, I say this posted on Susan Mallery’s Facebook page and LOVE LOVE LOVE the idea! I read at least 4 books a week, more when I am not in school, and most of the time it is to live vicariously through the characters(just don’t tell my husband)! I would definitely be on board to blog about books… read is my number one hobby and writing is a close number two, can’t get better than that! As I am going to school to be a history teacher, I tend toward Historical Romance… count me in!

I’ve been reading romance since I was 12 years old. I’d come from the library with a sack full and just sit all weekend to devour book after book.
I would love to have a guest spot! A great idea to offer this to everyone.

As a longtime fan and advocate for romance novels, I would love to be a part of a larger conversation with other romance lovers. I enjoy interacting with readers and authors on Twitter and sharing my reading thoughts on GoodReads, too. (http://bit.ly/9Zy7ws). It would be great fun to be involved with this project!

Wow. What a fantastic idea! I have started reading romance novels in the early 90’s starting with The Bride by Julie Garwood. I wouldn’t mind taking a stab at writing a guest post.
Thank you for offering this to the masses.

I’m dying it read Chasing Perfect, btw. I pouted this morning after seeing Sue’s Twitter post about it. Don’t post about a great book when I have to wait THREE MONTHS FOR IT! *dramatic sigh*

Sue - I was going through my Reader and I saw your last post first and commented over there before I saw THIS post.
I am copying and pasting:
I’d love to write a post about 3 or 4 different genre’s and my favorite authors, and who else we should try based on who we like! Sort of like the Bookmatcher series you have been doing? I LOVE those posts!
My book reviews are beyond awful and I don’t post much on my own blog lately (due to my hubby freaking out about privacy issues), but you can get a peek of my writing style at my website link above.
You may also just want to solicit some guest articles? But it can be hard if people don’t know if you will post them and then want to post them elsewhere… and then you have duplicate content to worry about!

This is timely, I just started my own blog a couple of weeks ago, my own little playground for my romance reading. Sure, put me down. Might as well embarrass myself on a bigger stage!
PS: Just did a post on Cover Model Nathan Kamp. Have a peek!

I would love to do a guest post. I have been reading romance nonstop for almost 2 years now and I would like to write about how I have grown from it. A lot of my friends think romance is silly but there is so much to it!

I would love to be a guest reader blogger. I’ve been an avid reader all my life–romance especially. I read my first romance novel in middle school, and was so inspired by the happy ending that I kept reading everything I could get my hands on. Of course, that turned me into a book addict. But I guess we all have our weaknesses.
I have been reviewing books intermittently on my own blog, mostly because I like to talk about what I’m reading. I want to get my friends to read more, and I figure if they get a recommendation from me, they’re more likely to pick the book up.
Of course, I only have so many friends… but it’s fun, anyway.

Hi Sue. I’d LOVE to write a guest post! I’ve been reading romance since I was 12 (back in the early 90s). I took a break for several years and started reading them again last year, so I’ve seen a huge shift in the genre.
I don’t know if you’re looking for ideas from potential bloggers to help you choose, but I’m really interested in talking about what you can learn from reading romance.
Fingers crossed! Have a great day.
