Two very different books, Morgan. The Dame continues the story of Bransen, the Highwayman; it’s the third step of his four-part journey. Even though it’s a big setting around him - two wars going on - it’s really about his own emotional journey. This book is very much a set-up for the last installment, The Bear, coming next year.
THe Ghost King is the end of an era for me, the culmination of 20 years of adventures with the Companions of the Hall. I won’t give anything away, except to say that it was one of the toughest books I’ve ever written. It’s amazing how these “characters” become a part of you heart and soul.
Thanks for letting me on here!
