DEFINITELY Weaveworld... why is it that noone but me and you seems to have read that book? i've read it once every few years since it came out years ago and it never gets old.
the stand- stephen king. it would be really interesting to find out how everything progressed after that. another excellent book.
one sequel that was a let down was the sequel to "the talisman"-stephen king/peter straub. i felt like they should've just let the book stand on its own. the sequel was just a let down.

I could see a sequel to Elantris (would also want the sequel to Warbreaker - definitely some loose storylines there).

I remember wanting to see sequels to many more standalone YA SF novels, as opposed to adult ones.

Sometimes one wants a sequel just to "find out what happens next," though a sequel is arguably unnecessary. IE. Lois Lowry's "The Giver," one of my favorite YA novels. I believe they have two "sequels" of sort, but haven't plucked up the courage to read them.
